Dreams conceived at night, unfulfilled dreams or dreams intended for other realities, hopes for the planet or the future: Baboni Schilingi will collect each of these suggestions and turn them into the voices of one large installation.
MAD Murate Art District and artist Jacopo Baboni Schilingi invite the public to the presentation of a project collecting the dreams the community wishes to give to the city. The participatory work is called Il Respiro dei sogni. On 24, 25 and 26 May 2022, the artist will record—in the literal sense—the dreams of people willing to “donate” them in the Terzo Giardino, a green lung on the bank of the Arno.
Jacopo Baboni Schilingi’s collective project, curated by Renata Summo O’Connell and MAD artistic director Valentina Gensini, will be presented to the public on Wednesday 18 May 2022 in the Ketty La Rocca room at MAD–Murate Art District, Florence.
The event is free; booking is recommended: 055 2476873; info.mad@musefirenze.it.
