CHANEL will host the Jacopo Baboni Schilingi Exhibition at CHANEL Nexus Hall, presenting photographs by an artist who is also a composer. It runs from Wednesday 15 January to Sunday 16 February 2020.

Paris-based contemporary composer Jacopo Baboni Schilingi works across a wide range of fields, from solo and orchestral music to film scores. Beyond composition, he is also known for actively exploring artistic expression through new approaches that cross disciplines.

His first solo exhibition in Japan presents Bodyscore, a photographic series recording a new compositional method: writing scores on the human body. Models take bold poses, with notation densely inscribed from their fingertips to their faces and the soles of their feet.

Visit the venue to experience how composer Jacopo Baboni Schilingi expresses emotion through this creative form rather than through music alone.
