Liquid Pixels is a tribute to paintings from the 1950's, such as Jackson Pollock's, Sam Francis' or Pierres Soulages' work and ensure continuity with the “Action painting” movement. Coloured pixels evolve autonomously on quarry stones. The spectator’s movements create a coloured light trail, that mix with light painting, before slowly fading until the next visitor. Breaking from the traditional support of the canvas, Miguel Chevalier and Jacopo Baboni Schilingi created electronic dripping with light painting, where the spectator becomes a digital paintbrush through his body.
