PARTITIONS, (knwon also as AIMTR) was presented in 1996 at IRCAM and at the Festival Musica in Strasbourg.
Conceived by Jacopo Baboni Schilingi and Pier Luigi Copat (architecte) it is a interactive music installation and architecture based on the concept of distortion and disruption. Music and space are not composed as immutable entities but on the contrary as figures of a variable geometry. The public defines the evolution of the parameters in terms of direction, rate of speed and pauses.
