Conception - Jacopo Baboni Schilingi (work in progress - 2017)
Curiosity is a sound interactive and generative art installation intended to be presented in the open air, in an urban pedestrian area.
Bringing together a musical composition by J. Baboni Schilingi and a 3D art creation by Christophe Bergon, Curiosity looks to redefine as much the convention of the concert as the concept of the musical art installation in creating a new type of encounter between the symphonic orchestra and the public.
Curiosity is above all else and independent artistic work, which combines music and physical space in a renewed rapport with the public. It can also be, however, considered as heightening the reality of urban public space and human flow, as much in its physical characteristics and features as in the advances technology. It contains that transforms it from being merely an innovative instrument to being used in multidisciplinary and multifaceted artistic performances.
