Trois profils pour alto - 2002
Claire Saillard - Viola
It is a composition divided into three parts, each lasting about 1 minute and a half. The first of the three profiles was composed in 1995 when Baboni Schilingi studying at IRCAM. The composition remained incomplete for years until 2002. The writing follows a progressive de-materialization path of rhythmic structures. The most interesting technique used in the first profile is a treatment that could fall under the term of "anticipated time". This technique is designed Baboni Schilingi. It is a particular use of the delay technique that does not just respond to a given musical gesture, but rather creates a principle of anticipation of some of the instrumentalist gestures.
